Delmas, 11 mai 2025 — Un nouveau drame vient assombrir un peu plus la situation déjà critique de la sécurité en Haïti. L’épidémiologiste et médecin Phaïmir Jean Charles a été brutalement assassinée dans la soirée du samedi 10 mai, dans sa résidence familiale située à Delmas 75.
Selon les premières informations disponibles, des individus armés non identifiés auraient fait irruption dans la maison. Les autres occupants des lieux auraient été ligotés, tandis que la victime, elle, aurait reçu plusieurs coups de couteau, entraînant sa mort sur place.
