Confrontation au sommet de l’État : Le MNT appelle à la réconciliation.-

Le Mouvement National pour la Transparence-Toutouni (MNT) exprime sa vive préoccupation face à l’escalade de tensions qui prend racine au sommet de l’État haïtien. Dans une note sans concession, le MNT pointe du doigt la dangereuse dérive qui s’installe entre le Conseil Présidentiel de Transition (CPT), dirigé par Son Excellence Leslie Voltaire, et le gouvernement en place, sous la conduite du Premier ministre Gary Conille.

Alors que la population haïtienne souffre du poids écrasant de l’insécurité et de la misère, l’affrontement politique entre les deux pôles du pouvoir ne fait qu’aggraver une situation déjà critique.

Le MNT rappelle fermement que ces comportements anti-républicains ne peuvent que retarder les élections générales tant attendues, plongeant davantage le pays dans l’incertitude. Cette guerre d’égos au sommet de l’État, loin de servir l’intérêt national, n’aboutira qu’à un prolongement de la crise.

Le MNT dénonce par ailleurs la solidarité douteuse du CPT avec trois de ses membres accusés de corruption. Comment un organe éclaboussé par des scandales pourrait-il prétendre à une croisade morale, surtout lorsqu’il s’agit d’un règlement de comptes contre la Chancelière Dominique Dupuy ? La République, martèle le MNT, ne peut prospérer sur des vendettas personnelles. La priorité doit rester le bien commun, la stabilité et la paix.

L’heure est à la réconciliation, insiste le mouvement. Plutôt que de s’enfermer dans des querelles destructrices, les dirigeants doivent renouer avec l’esprit des accords historiques du 11 mars et du 3 avril 2024, qui avaient tracé la voie vers une sortie de crise. Trente-huit ans après la chute de la dictature des Duvalier, il est impensable que les acteurs politiques d’aujourd’hui perpétuent le mythe selon lequel le consensus serait impossible en Haïti.

Face à un spectre grandissant de chaos, le MNT appelle Leslie Voltaire et Gary Conille à mettre de côté leurs différends personnels et à unir leurs compétences pour le bien du pays. La transition en cours, qui doit être la dernière, ne pourra réussir que par une véritable collaboration entre ces deux figures clés de l’État. Haïti ne peut se permettre de manquer une nouvelle fois ce rendez-vous avec l’histoire.
