En février, le chef du Parti kémaliste a annoncé qu’il ne paierait pas les factures d’électricité tant que le gouvernement n’aurait pas levé la hausse des tarifs du Nouvel An.

Le rapport de l’opposition note que 4,5 millions de personnes en Turquie ont été coupées de l’électricité ou du gaz naturel au moins une fois en 2021 en raison du non-paiement des factures.
