Les partis politiques haïtiens exigent le départ immédiat du Conseil Présidentiel de Transition (CPT)

Port-au-Prince, 20 octobre 2025 — Face à l’impasse politique et à la dégradation continue des conditions de vie dans le pays, plusieurs formations politiques majeures d’Haïti — Fanmi Lavalas, PHTK, KID, Fusion, SDP, OPL, RDNP et Nouvelle Orientation — ont tenu ce matin une rencontre conjointe pour dresser un constat sans appel : le Conseil Présidentiel de Transition (CPT) a échoué dans sa mission de redressement national.
Selon ces partis, l’insécurité généralisée, l’absence de progrès vers des élections crédibles, la fragmentation du territoire sous le contrôle de groupes armés, ainsi que l’abandon des populations déplacées traduisent l’échec patent d’une gouvernance incapable de répondre aux urgences du moment.
Le CPT, censé conduire Haïti vers la stabilité, est devenu, affirment-ils, « un symbole d’immobilisme et de promesses non tenues ».
Les dirigeants politiques réunis dénoncent également la renonciation au projet de nouvelle Constitution et l’incapacité du CPT à restaurer l’autorité de l’État. Selon eux, loin d’avoir apaisé la crise, cette structure transitoire l’a aggravée, plongeant davantage le pays dans l’incertitude et sapant les fondements mêmes de la démocratie.
« Le CPT a perdu toute légitimité et toute crédibilité. Il doit partir pour laisser place à une transition de consensus, fondée sur la responsabilité et la transparence », a déclaré l’un des porte-parole du front commun.
En conséquence, les partis signataires exigent le départ immédiat de tous les membres du CPT et appellent à la mise en place d’une nouvelle alternative politique consensuelle, capable de restaurer la confiance, garantir la sécurité et préparer des élections libres, inclusives et crédibles.
