Haïti : Nenel Cassy appelle Aristide à fédérer le camp démocratique en vue des prochaines élections

Port-au-Prince – L’ancien sénateur Nenel Cassy appelle l’ancien président Jean-Bertrand Aristide à prendre l’initiative de rassembler plusieurs figures politiques afin de préparer les prochaines échéances électorales. Selon lui, seule une large coalition du secteur démocratique permettra de faire face aux défis du processus électoral à venir.
Nenel Cassy propose qu’Aristide réunisse notamment Jocelerme Privert, Gérald Germain, Jude Célestin, Schiller Louidor, Hugue Célestin, Antonio Chéramy (Don Kato) et Kelly C. Bastien, dans le but d’élaborer une stratégie commune en vue des élections.
L’ancien parlementaire estime également que Me André Michel pourrait jouer un rôle fédérateur. Il considère que sa voix pourrait servir de « ciment » pour favoriser le rassemblement des forces démocratiques et mobiliser les couches populaires.
Au cours de son intervention, Nenel Cassy a accusé le PHTK, qu’il qualifie de « Bandi Legal », d’avoir contribué à la détérioration de la situation du pays. Selon lui, cette formation politique chercherait aujourd’hui à revenir au pouvoir en misant sur son unité.
Face à cette perspective, l’ancien sénateur exhorte Jean-Bertrand Aristide à organiser le secteur démocratique afin de participer aux prochaines élections avec l’objectif de conquérir le pouvoir par les urnes. Il soutient que seule une démarche unitaire permettra de proposer une alternative politique crédible dans le contexte actuel.
