Le Secteur Démocratique et Populaire (SDP) a annoncé via son porte-parole, Maître André Michel, qu’il participera aux discussions entre les parties haïtiennes qui se tiendront en Jamaïque les 11, 12 et 13 juin 2023. Le SDP sera présent lors de cette rencontre pour défendre l’accord du 21 décembre en tant que point d’appui politique essentiel à toute solution haïtienne à la crise actuelle.
Dans son communiqué, le SDP exprime ses regrets quant à l’absence de certains acteurs politiques lors du Forum de l’HCT qui s’est tenu à Port-au-Prince les 23 et 24 mai derniers, alors même que leur participation avait été confirmée pour la réunion en Jamaïque. Le SDP estime qu’il est essentiel de maintenir le dialogue entre les différentes parties haïtiennes sur le sol national et affirme que refuser de se parler entre compatriotes n’est pas sérieux.
