Dans un contexte politique haïtien marqué par des tensions croissantes, Maître André Michel, porte-parole du Secteur Démocratique et Populaire (SDP) et signataire de l’accord du 21 décembre, a exprimé son soutien à la récente déclaration de l’architecte Leslie Voltaire, président du Conseil Présidentiel de Transition (CPT). Ce dernier a fermement condamné l’alliance entre certains partis politiques et la coalition criminelle “Viv Ansanm”.
Leslie Voltaire a dénoncé cette association, la qualifiant de trahison envers la mémoire des victimes et une atteinte à la souveraineté nationale. Il a souligné que certains partis politiques, aujourd’hui représentés au CPT, s’étaient engagés en février et mars 2024 dans une alliance avec des chefs de gangs pour tenter de renverser le Premier ministre Ariel Henry et ses alliés.
Il a insisté sur la nécessité de prendre des mesures concrètes contre ces partis et a encouragé le CPT à transférer l’intégralité des fonds de renseignement à l’armée et à la Police Nationale, afin de renforcer les services de renseignement et d’améliorer l’efficacité des forces de l’ordre dans la lutte contre les gangs criminels.
Maître André Michel a conclu en réaffirmant sa position de principe : “Pas de négociation avec les GANGS !”
Ces déclarations interviennent alors que le climat sécuritaire en Haïti demeure préoccupant, avec une influence croissante des gangs armés dans plusieurs régions du pays.
