Plus de huit semaines après sa nomination, la ministre de l’Économie et des Finances, Ketleen Florestal, ne s’est toujours pas installée dans son bureau officiel. Logée dans un hôtel de la capitale aux frais de l’État haïtien, elle n’a pas encore pris ses fonctions dans les locaux du ministère. Une situation qui tranche avec celle de ses collègues du gouvernement.
En effet, les ministres des Affaires sociales et de la Justice, qui disposent également de bureaux sur la même rue que le ministère de l’Économie et des Finances (MEF), se rendent régulièrement dans leurs bureaux respectifs. Contrairement à eux, Ketleen Florestal refuse de mettre les pieds dans le sien, créant ainsi un blocage administratif majeur. Selon nos sources, des tonnes de dossiers importants sont en souffrance, freinant des processus essentiels pour le bon fonctionnement de l’État.
Cette absence prolongée de la ministre suscite de nombreuses interrogations et préoccupations au sein de l’administration publique. Le choix de rester à l’hôtel aux frais de l’État, au lieu d’occuper le bureau qui lui est destiné, ne manque pas d’alimenter les critiques sur sa gestion du ministère et sur les coûts additionnels supportés par les contribuables.
La situation exige une clarification rapide de la part de la ministre, afin de lever le voile sur les raisons de son absence prolongée et sur les mesures qu’elle entend prendre pour remédier à cette situation préoccupante. Les citoyens et les fonctionnaires attendent des réponses concrètes, alors que les dossiers s’accumulent dans les tiroirs du MEF.
