Mme Marjory Michel défend la nécessité d’un soutien international pour la révision constitutionnelle et les élections en Haïti.
Port-au-Prince – Dans le cadre de ses efforts continus visant à promouvoir la stabilité et la démocratie en Haïti, Mme Marjory Michel, porte-parole du Secteur Démocratique et Populaire (SDP), rencontrera le Secrétaire Général des Nations-Unies, M. Antonio Guterrez, lors de sa visite à Port-au-Prince. L’objectif principal de cette rencontre est de défendre la nécessité d’une force internationale d’appui à la Police Nationale d’Haïti (PNH), afin de créer les conditions indispensables à la révision constitutionnelle et à l’organisation des élections, une demande constamment formulée par le SDP lors de toutes les rencontres diplomatiques.
Le SDP, un acteur politique très influent sur la scène internationale, est réputé pour sa bonne relation avec les représentants diplomatiques des pays étrangers en Haïti. Mme Michel, en tant que porte-parole du SDP, joue un rôle crucial dans la promotion des intérêts politiques et sociaux du peuple haïtien.
Lors de cette réunion avec le Secrétaire Général, Mme Michel présentera une recommandation au nom du peuple haïtien et en tant que politicienne responsable. Elle soulignera l’urgence de mettre en place une force internationale d’appui à la PNH, capable de renforcer la sécurité et la stabilité du pays. Une telle force contribuerait également à créer les conditions nécessaires pour entreprendre la révision constitutionnelle, une étape importante dans le processus de renforcement des institutions démocratiques en Haïti.
