Magalie Comeau Denis, en tant que représentante du groupe MONTA, avait adopté une position radicale lors de cette rencontre en demandant le départ du Premier Ministre Ariel Henry. Cependant, après la rencontre en Jamaïque, elle remet en question l’intégrité de l’ensemble du système judiciaire, y compris les membres du HCT et la Cour de Cassation.
La porte-parole du Secteur Démocratique et Populaire, Marjory Michel, a répliqué à cette position en faisant valoir l’importance et la légitimité de l’accord du 21 décembre 2022. Elle a souligné que cet accord était le fruit d’une large concertation et d’un consensus entre différents acteurs politiques et de la société civile, visant à résoudre la crise politique et à assurer une transition pacifique vers la stabilité.
Marjory Michel a également souligné que la remise en question de l’ensemble de l’instance judiciaire pourrait avoir des conséquences néfastes pour la démocratie et l’état de droit en Haïti. Elle a encouragé tous les acteurs politiques à travailler ensemble dans le cadre de l’accord pour parvenir à des solutions durables et respectueuses des principes démocratiques.
