La Commission Nationale des Télécommunications (CONATEL) a annoncé aujourd’hui le renouvellement de la licence de Starlink pour la fourniture de services d’internet par satellite sur l’ensemble du territoire national en Haïti. Cette décision, effective à partir du 1er juillet 2024, autorise Starlink à opérer pour une durée de cinq ans, marquant ainsi un nouveau chapitre dans l’engagement du régulateur envers la connectivité nationale et l’inclusion numérique.

La licence renouvelée ne constitue pas une concession, mais plutôt une approbation réglementaire permettant à Starlink de continuer à offrir ses services essentiels à travers le pays.
