Le 6 juin, Farida, 45 ans (selon d’autres sources, elle avait 50 ans) du village de Kalempang a quitté la maison le matin pour se rendre au marché et n’est pas revenue.


Le lendemain, le mari de Farida découvre ses affaires dans la forêt. Après cela, plusieurs habitants sont partis à la recherche de la femme et sont tombés sur un python au ventre anormalement gros.

Après avoir déchiré le serpent, ils trouvèrent le corps de Farida à l’intérieur. Des morsures ont été constatées sur les jambes de la femme. Les résidents locaux supposent que le python l’a mordue, puis étranglée et avalée.

Le défunt laisse quatre enfants. De plus, selon les journalistes, cette affaire est la cinquième en Indonésie au cours des 7 dernières années.
