Yanick Joseph, ancien agent de la PNH, conteste vivement les récentes déclarations concernant la levée de l’interdiction de départ qui pèse sur elle. En réalité, cette mesure a été annulée depuis mai 2022, comme en attestent deux correspondances signées du substitut Commissaire du gouvernement Lucas Étienne, adressées au Service de l’Immigration et de l’Émigration ainsi qu’à la Direction centrale de la Police judiciaire (DCPJ).
Ces documents, datant du 19 mai 2022, ont clairement indiqué l’annulation de l’interdiction de départ et de l’avis de recherche qui étaient en vigueur à l’encontre de Yanick Joseph, alors qu’elle occupait le poste de coordonnatrice du Syndicat de la Police nationale d’Haïti (SPNH-17).
Loin d’être une nouvelle, cette annonce aurait pu être interprétée comme une stratégie de communication mise en œuvre par le Commissaire du gouvernement de Port-au-Prince, Jacques Lafontant, afin de façonner l’opinion publique. En effet, les informations selon lesquelles le chef du Parquet aurait ordonné, le lundi 27 mars, la levée de l’interdiction contre la syndicaliste ne correspondent pas à la réalité.
En s’appuyant sur les documents reçus par la rédaction de Rezo Nòdwès, Yanick Joseph réfute les déclarations du Parquet et confirme que les avis de recherche communiqués à la DCPJ et l’interdiction de départ transmise au Service de l’Immigration par les substituts commissaires du gouvernement Me Quebex Jean et Me Guimail Nicolas, ont déjà été annulés par le substitut Lucas Étienne.
Cette annulation des mesures a fait suite à une ordonnance rendue par le juge des référés du Tribunal de Première instance en date du 12 mai 2022. Les deux correspondances mentionnent également que cette décision a été adressée à l’inspecteur général Frédéric Leconte de la DCPJ et au directeur du Service de l’Immigration.
Yanick Joseph tient à rectifier ces allégations trompeuses qui cherchent à détourner l’attention du public dans un contexte marqué par une forte insécurité à Port-au-Prince.
