Reprise partielle des activités du CARDH malgré les menaces persistantes.-

Port-au-Prince, le 29 janvier 2024 – Le Centre d’Analyse et de Recherche en Droits de l’Homme (CARDH) annonce courageusement la reprise partielle de ses activités à partir du mercredi 31 janvier 2024, malgré les menaces persistantes qui planent sur son engagement envers la population haïtienne.
Dans un contexte où la situation sécuritaire continue de se détériorer, le CARDH réaffirme avec fermeté l’obligation de l’État haïtien, représenté par le gouvernement, de créer les conditions propices à l’exercice et à la jouissance des droits de l’homme et des libertés fondamentales. De même, il souligne l’importance cruciale de la coopération internationale pour combler les lacunes et répondre aux manquements en matière de protection des droits humains.
Face à ces défis, le CARDH demeure résolu à poursuivre sa mission essentielle de défense des droits de l’homme et de promotion de la justice sociale en Haïti. Son retour partiel marque un pas en avant dans la lutte pour la protection des droits fondamentaux dans un climat d’incertitude et de danger.
Le CARDH exprime sa gratitude envers ses partenaires et l’opinion publique pour leur soutien indéfectible et leur solidarité en cette période difficile. Ensemble, nous continuerons à œuvrer pour un avenir où chaque individu en Haïti peut vivre dans la dignité et la sécurité, libéré de la menace constante des violations des droits de l’homme.
