Un an après la signature de l’accord du 3 avril 2024, l’heure est au bilan, et pour Me André Michel, le constat est accablant : le Conseil présidentiel de transition (CPT) a échoué sur toute la ligne.

Dans une déclaration choc, Me André Michel a mis en lumière les multiples scandales qui ont plombé la transition :

“ Le scandale de la BNC : une affaire de corruption massive au cœur de l’économie haïtienne, qui a mis à mal la confiance des citoyens. ”

“ L’utilisation des fonds du renseignement à des fins personnelles : un abus de pouvoir qui a mis en lumière les dérives d’une classe politique de plus en plus déconnectée. ”

“ Les ventes de postes dans l’administration publique : des pratiques qui ont fragilisé les institutions et miné la capacité de l’État à fonctionner efficacement. ”

“ Des conflits récurrents au sommet de l’État : une guerre interne pour le pouvoir qui a paralysé les décisions cruciales et rendu la gouvernance impossible. ”

“ L’aggravation de la situation sécuritaire : le pays a perdu de vastes territoires, et les massacres, assassinats, et affrontements gangstéristes se multiplient chaque jour. ”

Le verdict est clair : le CPT a échoué. Me André Michel pointe du doigt la faillite totale du système mis en place par les signataires de l’accord du 3 avril, une faillite qui ne peut être ignorée. Loin des promesses d’un avenir plus stable, le pays s’enfonce chaque jour un peu plus dans la crise.

Les élections prévues pour la fin de l’année 2025, comme le stipulaient les engagements de l’accord, semblent désormais irréalisables. Me André Michel va plus loin, affirmant qu’il est impossible de sauver la transition avec un CPT délégitimé et discrédité.

Face à ce constat accablant, l’homme politique appelle de toute urgence à un changement de direction. Il affirme que l’accord du 21 décembre pourrait offrir une alternative crédible pour la transition et réussir là où le CPT a échoué. Selon lui, le temps est venu de prendre les mesures nécessaires pour redresser la situation.

Haïti ne peut plus attendre. Le pays est à la croisée des chemins, et l’inaction pourrait signifier un plongeon encore plus profond dans la crise politique, économique et sécuritaire. Un appel est lancé à ceux qui peuvent encore prendre les rênes du pays pour tenter de sortir Haïti de l’ornière où il se trouve.

Me André Michel conclut son message en affirmant qu’il est désormais évident que le CPT n’a pas été à la hauteur des attentes du peuple haïtien. L’avenir du pays dépendra des actions courageuses qui seront entreprises dans les semaines et mois à venir.
