En effet, AGORA a vu le jour le 8 juillet 2017 à Cap-Haïtien. Elle se donne pour mission de promouvoir le slam (Déclamation publique faite pour surprendre, émouvoir l’auditoire. Poésie orale et publique), le théatre et la peinture en Haiti et à travers le monde. Dépister les talents chez les jeunes, les encadrer, encourager la production littéraire font partie de leurs objectifs. Le théatre pour ces jeunes dévoués et dynamique est une arme puissante qu’ils comptent utiliser pour éduquer un peuple qui sombre dans l’ignorance. Le théatre doit passer du simple divertissement, dépasser la conception de luxe qu’on lui attribue souvent pour devenir une expression de valeurs, un véritable moyen de combattre la déchéance sociale et de dénoncer les mauvaises mœurs qui corrompent la société haïtienne.
