La Commission chilienne des droits de l’homme (CCHDH) ainsi qu’une douzaine d’organisations haïtiennes, féministes et prometteuses ont demandé justice pour les femmes victimes d’abus sexuels par des soldats chiliens qui faisaient partie de la mission de paix des Nations Unies en Haïti lundi.

Une enquête récente publiée sur le portail universitaire The Coversation, qui fait écho au New York Times, dénonce un phénomène généralisé de violations des femmes haïtiennes commises par des soldats de la Minustah (Mission des Nations Unies pour la stabilisation en Haïti) entre 2004 et 2017, dont 20% ont été commis par des soldats chiliens.
