Dans les autres pays notamment le Canada, les États Unis cette journée est consacrée à la réflexion de la montée des femmes dans les grandes décisions sociales, économiques et surtout dans les deniers publiques.

Toutefois, la perception qu’on a de cette journée dans les sociétés haïtiennes est plutôt politique basée sur un favoritisme de méchanceté qui crée plus d’exclusion que d’inclusion des femmes dans les grandes décisions que ce soit au niveau social, politique ou économique.

La lutte ici bas est longue, et nécessite d’abord un changement de mentalité, que ce soit chez les femmes et chez les hommes.

De toute façon, s’incliner devant le courage des femmes et des hommes croyant que cette journée nommée la *journée internationale de la femme* est une journée pour regarder les conditions de femmes quelles que soit leurs appartenances sociales, religieuses en Haïti serait déjà un apport favorable.
