Le Directeur du RNDDH, Pierre Espérance, Exige le Retrait du Juge Al Duniel Dimanche et Dénonce les Dérives Judiciaires.-

Dans une interview accordée à Gazette Haïti News le 5 janvier 2023, le Directeur Exécutif du Réseau National de Défense des Droits Humains, Pierre Espérance, qualifie de scandaleux les agissements du juge Al Duniel Dimanche dans le dossier de soupçons de corruption au CNE.

Espérance demande au décanat de prendre les dispositions nécessaires pour retirer le juge du dossier, estimant que ses attaques visent à « faire son beurre ». Depuis plusieurs jours, le juge Dimanche, en charge de l’affaire, mène une chasse contre d’anciens hauts responsables de l’État.

Face au refus de se présenter à son carré pour être auditionnés, le juge a émis des mandats d’amener. Espérance critique la démarche du magistrat, soulignant qu’il ne peut s’adjuger un pouvoir illimité non conféré par la loi. Il exprime également son inquiétude quant aux risques encourus par les personnalités convoquées et demande à la Police Nationale d’Haïti de ne pas exécuter ses ordres « illégaux ».

De plus, il remet en question la capacité du doyen du tribunal, Bernard Sainvil, à administrer le décanat, soulignant des incohérences dans les dates de l’ordonnance. Jocelerme Privert, ancien président, a dénoncé la compétence du juge à enquêter sur d’anciens hauts responsables.

Plus d’une trentaine de personnalités, dont Privert, Michel Martelly, Joseph Jouthe, Laurent Lamothe, Garry Conille, Michelle Duvivier Pierre Louis, Enex Jean Charles et Claude Joseph, sont visées par les actions du juge Dimanche.
