Nous , les jeunes progressistes de Saint-Michel de l’Attalaye, condamnons avec la plus grande rigueur l’attaque perpétrée contre les personnes de l’honorable sénateur Youri Latortue et le président du sénat Carl Murat Cantave ce mardi 07 mai 2019 à l’occasion de la fête patronale de la zone.
La fête patronale qui est une activité religieuse d’une part et d’autre part mondaine et culturelle est souvent l’occasion pour des compatriotes de la diaspora de rentrer voir leurs familles ,prier et renouveler leur voeux. C’est aussi l’occasion pour des personnalités de tout ordre, de toutes tendances politiques et/ou idéologiques de se rencontrer , se serrer la main , recevoir les doléances de la population et renouveler leur engagement à travailler pour satisfaire les besoins de la communauté.
C’est dans cette logique que le coordinateur National du parti politique Ayiti An Aksyon(AAA) s’était rendu ici, à Saint-Michel, hier afin de tenir compagnie à la population.
L’honorable sénateur Youri Latortue, soucieux du devoir de supporter les plus faibles et conscient de la misère qui s’étale dans le pays à cause de la gestion catastrophique du régime en place ,avait décidé de nous faire don de quelques camions de produits alimentaires afin de s’assurer que chaque chose chaque famille de la communauté ait quelque chose dans l’assiette en cette occasion de fête. Des malfrats ont pillé les premiers camions et ont empêché l’aide d’arriver à destination, le Sénateur qui a minimisé le pillage fit venir d’autres camions pour la distribution. C’est à ce moment que les malfrats à cravate, auteurs intellectuels,ont utilisé leur plan B.
La population de Saint-Michel de l’Attalaye n’a rien contre le Sénateur ni sa structure politique AAA. Nous avons pu constater que l’organe de presse des détracteurs était au rendez-vous d’ailleurs le même soir tout un ensemble de textes ,de tweets,de vidéos circulent en boucle sur les réseaux sociaux.
Nous restons attachés aux valeurs démocratiques en tant que jeunes progressistes,nous sommes contre la violence d’où qu’elle vienne et nous reiterons notre soutien inconditionnel à l’honorable sénateur Youri Latortue,enfant légitime de l’Artibonite.
