Port-au-Prince, 24 juin 2024 – La chancellerie haïtienne annonce un remaniement significatif dans sa représentation diplomatique internationale. Plus d’une dizaine d’ambassadeurs et chargés d’affaires vont être rappelés, une décision approuvée par le Premier ministre Garry Conille après signature des lettres de rappel par la Ministre des Affaires Étrangères, Dominique Dupuy.

Parmi les diplomates concernés figurent :

  • Josué Dahomey, Ambassadeur d’Haïti à Paris
  • Wedlyne Pierre, Ambassadrice d’Haïti au Chili
  • Euvrard Saint Amand, Ambassadeur d’Haïti au Royaume-Uni
  • Jesse Jean, Ambassadeur d’Haïti en Belgique
  • Justin Viard, Représentant d’Haïti à Genève
  • Josué Jean, Chargé d’Affaires d’Haïti au Maroc
  • Roody Stanley Penn, Ambassadeur d’Haïti à Taïwan
  • Vilbert Bélizaire, Ambassadeur d’Haïti en Argentine
  • Lesly Benoit, Ambassadeur d’Haïti au Vietnam
  • Luc Harvey Jean Pierre, Chargé d’Affaires en République Dominicaine

Selon nos informations, ces ambassadeurs et chargés d’affaires seront rappelés aux services centraux du Ministère des Affaires Étrangères à Port-au-Prince. Ce remaniement s’inscrit dans une stratégie de réorganisation visant à renforcer et à redynamiser la diplomatie haïtienne.

Le Premier ministre Conille et la Ministre Dominique Dupuy semblent vouloir donner une nouvelle impulsion à la politique étrangère du pays. Les raisons exactes de ces rappels n’ont pas été communiquées publiquement, mais ce mouvement pourrait refléter une volonté de renouveler les pratiques diplomatiques et de répondre aux défis actuels de la diplomatie haïtienne.
