Nous avons reçu une correspondance émanant de votre Cabinet, pour nous convier, au titre de Coordonnateur National d’AYITI AN AKSYON, à une rencontre au Palais National le 2 Avril prochain. L’objectif de cette rencontre, tel que stipulé dans la lettre en date du 29 Mars 2019, est la participation du parti aux consultations pour la formation d’un nouveau gouvernement.

Compte tenu de notre position en ce qui a trait à votre gestion alarmante des affaires du pays, notamment sur votre refus systématique d’adresser les revendications de la population, nous nous trouvons obligés de nous abstenir d’y participer. Refuser d’administrer avec transparence et de rendre compte de l’usage des deniers publics, continuer d’implémenter des programmes inefficaces, retarder les reformes de l’administration publique et ignorer les violations des droits de l’homme de plus en plus fréquentes ces derniers temps, ne font rien pour pallier le déficit de confiance qui frappe désormais votre présidence.

Néanmoins, il importe quand même pour nous de vous préciser que le parti AYITI AN AKSYON demeure ouvert à tout dialogue élargi et sincère, où vous seriez disposé à traiter d’abord, et de toute urgence, des problèmes fondamentaux qui ont exacerbé la crise jusqu’ici. Il est de l’intérêt de tous les acteurs politiques de vous voir remédier aux mécanismes de blocage qui ont fait, entre autres, obstruction au procès PETROCARIBE, comme aux enquêtes sur le contrat DERMALOG et sur le recrutement des MERCENAIRES ETRANGERS repartis comme ils étaient venus.

Ainsi, dans un esprit de franche communication, nous profitons de l’opportunité qui nous est offerte, pour vous exhorter, une nouvelle fois, à amorcer de « vrais » échanges, avec les politiques, mais aussi avec les jeunes de la société civile ; des échanges où tous les privilèges seront mis sur la table de conciliation, incluant nos mandats. Ce sera l’occasion pour nous de donner l’exemple, et, pourquoi pas, de prouver notre véritable engagement à apaiser le climat justifié de mécontentement collectif.
