Crise politique : La CARICOM invite l’équipe du 21 décembre aux discussions.-

Port-au-Prince, 9 août 2024 – La délégation de la CARICOM (Communauté caribéenne) a officiellement invité l’équipe du 21 décembre à participer aux discussions cruciales visant à résoudre la crise politique en Haïti. Ariel Henry, ancien Premier ministre, a recommandé Maître André Michel pour mener ces pourparlers, après que ce dernier ait reçu une invitation de la CARICOM pour l’accord du 21 décembre. Maître André Michel est chargé de constituer une délégation unitaire, regroupant les divers courants qui composent le consensus de cet accord.

Trois points clés domineront les discussions :

1. L’harmonie entre le Conseil de Transition Présidentielle (CPT) et la Primature : Les tensions entre ces deux entités doivent être résolues pour permettre une gouvernance plus cohérente et efficace durant la période de transition.

2. Le scandale des 100 millions de gourdes de la BNC : Ce scandale financier implique trois membres du Conseil de Transition Présidentielle, dont Gérald Gilles.soulèvent des questions importantes sur l’intégrité et la gestion des finances publiques au sein de l’exécutif.

3. Le Conseil Électoral Provisoire (CEP) : La formation et la fonctionnalité du CEP sont essentielles pour organiser les élections à venir, un enjeu majeur pour rétablir la stabilité politique en Haïti.
