La guerre des sanctions déclarée par l’Occident à la Russie à cause de son opération militaire en Ukraine frappe même les animaux. Ce jeudi 3 mars, la Fédération internationale féline a annoncé des mesures à l’encontre des éleveurs russes et leurs chats.

Cité par le média danois Finans, le fabricant de jouets explique que la décision a été prise « à la lumière des sanctions et de l’environnement opérationnel imprévisible ». Le média précise que Lego ferme ainsi « les portes de l’un de ses plus grands marchés de vente ».

La vague de sanctions n’épargne pas non plus le monde des jeux vidéo et du cybersport. Ainsi, par « solidarité avec l’Ukraine », Electronic Arts, l’un des principaux acteurs dans le domaine, a annoncé avoir lancé une procédure d’exclusion des clubs et des équipes nationales russes de ses jeux de football, dont FIFA 22, FIFA Mobile et FIFA Online. De plus, les équipes nationales de hockey de Russie et de Biélorussie seront retirées du jeu NHL 22.
Plus tôt, la ligue de sport électronique avait interdit aux équipes russes Virtus.Pro et Gambit de participer sous drapeau russe aux prochaines compétitions organisées par l’organisation.
