N’était-ce la vigilance des Unités spécialisées de la Police Nationale d’Haiti affectées à la sécurité présidentielle, Jovenel Moïse pourrait connaître un moment noir dans la cité de l’indépendance. Revenant de la ville de Port-de-Paix, commune natale de la première Dame, Jovenel Moïse a rendu visite à son lieutenant en charge de la répression dans la localité de Decaheaux.

Accueilli par le puissant chef de gang Paulda, impliqué dans plusieurs meurtres et assassinats, près de la place Petion Decaheaux, Gonaïves, le repris de justice et le Chef d’Etat en ont profité pour célébrer cette courte rencontre comme une victoire sur l’opposition qui réclame sa démission immédiate et inconditionnelle. Une fois avertis, les citoyens de raboto ont vite réagi pour remettre de l’ordre dans la ville mais, la nature n’a pas voulu que notre histoire retienne un deuxième Vilbrun Guillaume et a permis à Jovenel Moïse de sauver de justesse sous le crépitement des tirs nourris.
