Yourie Latortue a lancé un avertissement contre la nomination des trois (3) nouveaux ministres par le Premier ministre, Jean Henry Céant. Dans une interview accordée à une radio privée de la capitale, le sénateur de l’Artibonite a clairement désapprouvé cette décision prise peu après la séance de ratification au Parlement.

Selon M. Latortue, les trois ministres délégués auprès du Premier ministre n’ont pas été présentés au Parlement et, par conséquent, n’y auront pas de droit d’entrée. « Je ne comprends pas pourquoi c’est après la séance que ces trois ministres ont été nommés. De ce fait, ils n’auront pas de droit d’entrée au Parlement », a ainsi clamé Youri Latortue.

Le parlementaire a affirmé que c’est au cours de la cérémonie d’installation organisée au Palais qu’il a été informé, par le vice-président du Sénat, qu’il y aurait une nomination de trois ministres. Il déclare également que la Constitution ne reconnait pas de « ministres délégués » et espère que ces derniers n’auront pas de budget.

« Je les considère comme des conseillers du Premier ministre puisque leur nomination est inconstitutionnelle », martèle le sénateur de l’Artibonite qui dit que la Constitution ne reconnait que des ministres et des Secrétaires d’Etat. Il rappelle déjà au Premier ministre ses promesses de réduire sur les trains de vie de l’Etat.

« Le budget prévoit déjà des dettes élevées à 14%, nous ne saurons avoir 21 ministres au sein d’un gouvernement », toujours selon le sénateur. Il recommande à Jean-Henry Céant de garder la ligne qu’il avait « tracée ».

Lundi dernier, peu après la séance d’installation de Jean-Henry Céant au poste de Premier ministre, une note a informé la nomination de trois nouveaux ministres au sein de son gouvernement. Il s’agit de Patrick Sully Joseph, ministre délégué auprès du premier ministre chargé des questions électorales ; Stéphanie Auguste, ministre chargée des droits humains et de la pauvreté extrême et Guy François Jr, chargé de la citoyenneté et du patriotisme.
