Michel Martelly savait que son ami Sonson LaFamilia était le chef du gang GALIL

Le chef de gang notoire Galil, également connu sous le nom de Woodly Ethéard, aurait été sur le point de trouver sa libération, mais des allégations douteuses émergent. Il est important de rappeler que le chef de gang Galil, Woodly Ethéard, alias Sonson Lafamilia, ainsi que sa femme, Mme Marié Taissa Mazile Etheart, sont tous les deux impliqués dans des affaires de kidnapping.

Le 25 mars, la police a annoncé que Sami El Aziz, un homme d’affaires syro-américain enlevé huit jours plus tôt, avait été libéré avant que la rançon de 1,2 million de dollars demandée par ses ravisseurs n’ait été payée. Les ravisseurs ont été identifiés comme faisant partie du gang Baz Galil, dirigé par Woodly Ethéard, alias Sonson Lafamilia. Ce gang est soupçonné d’être impliqué dans de nombreux autres enlèvements, y compris 18 d’après The Sentinel, qui ajoute que Lafamilia «assurait la sécurité des fils du président Michel Martelly, d’Olivier et de T-Mickey». Le service d’information en ligne Haitipolitik rapporte que l’enlèvement a été commis à l’aide d’une voiture appartenant au ministère de l’Intérieur et décrit Lafamilia comme «un trafiquant de drogue notoire et ami personnel du président Martelly».

Lafamilia avait été arrêté en 2009 mais avait été rapidement libéré, malgré l’opposition de Mario Andrésol, directeur de la police nationale à l’époque. Il était recherché par la police pour l’enlèvement d’El Aziz.

Après son départ, Andrésol avait dénoncé dans un article du journal Le Nouvelliste la permissivité du pouvoir judiciaire de Port-au-Prince envers les personnes liées au commerce de la drogue, prétendument protégées par ceux ayant des liens politiques.

Le mercredi 26 mars 2014, le juge instructeur Sonel Jean-Francois a procédé à l’arrestation de Mme Marie Taissa Mazile Etheart, la femme de Sonson Lafamilia, un ami personnel de Michel Martelly, après une brève audition. Des scellés ont également été apposés sur les locaux du restaurant La Souvenance à Morne Brun dans le cadre des enquêtes sur les activités du gang Galil. Le chef-cuisinier du restaurant a également été arrêté par la police.

Tout Haiti rappelle que, selon le RNDDH, Woodly Ethéard, alias Sonson La Familia, alias SOS, et Charles Saint-Rémy, alias Kiko, frère de la première dame Sophia Martelly, sont propriétaires du restaurant La Souvenance situé à Morne Brun, Pétion-Ville. Ce restaurant est chargé de fournir des repas au Palais National et à certains ministères du pays.

La question qui préoccupe tout le monde est de savoir si Michel Martelly savait que son ami Sonson LaFamilia était le chef du gang GALIL, responsable de 17 enlèvements. Après avoir pris connaissance de ces détails, il est important de se demander pourquoi la justice ne poursuit pas sa démarche au lieu de chercher un bouc émissaire comme Laurent Lamothe pour échapper au jugement du chef de gang Galil, Woodly Ethéard, alias Sonson Lafamilia, qui est actuellement en prison.

Notons que le chef du gang Galil, Woodly Ethéard, alias Sonson La Familia, a été arrêté en République dominicaine le samedi 15 mai 2021, alors qu’il assistait à un concert de son ami, l’ancien président Michel Martelly, la veille, le vendredi 14 mai, au Hard Rock Café.

Il a été remis à la police haïtienne le dimanche 16 mai 2021, car il faisait l’objet d’un mandat d’arrêt pour enlèvement, séquestration, blanchiment d’argent illicite, trafic de stupéfiants et association de malfaiteurs. Le gang Galil est responsable de l’enlèvement de 17 personnes en six ans et aurait récolté 1,5 million de dollars de rançon. Il est inquiétant que la PNH n’ait pas fait son travail, permettant ainsi à ce chef de gang de kidnapper en toute impunité.

Il est important de rappeler qu’un juge de la cour de Cassation avait ordonné à Woodly Ethéard de retourner en prison en 2018, car le jugement de sa libération en 2015, en raison de l’insuffisance de preuves et de charges, par le juge d’instruction Lamarre Bélizaire, n’avait pas été annulé par la justice haïtienne.
