Depuis le lancement de l’opération « Bwa Kale » le 24 avril 2023, une initiative qui vise à impliquer la population dans la lutte contre l’insécurité en Haïti, le Centre d’analyse et de recherche en droits de l’homme (CARDH) a mené une étude approfondie sur les impacts de cette opération sur l’insécurité et le kidnapping dans le pays. Les résultats obtenus sont à la fois encourageants et préoccupants, soulignant la nécessité d’un encadrement adéquat pour garantir une sécurité durable.
Selon les données recueillies par le CARDH, au moins 160 présumés bandits ont été pourchassés, lynchés et brûlés vifs dans tout le pays depuis le début de l’opération.
