Plan B en vue pour remplacer le Conseil Présidentiel de Transition, avertit Pierre Espérance.-

Le Conseil Présidentiel de Transition (CPT) continue de faire face à une crise interne persistante, mettant en péril la stabilité politique du pays. L’absence de consensus, illustrée par la récente opposition du Collectif du 30 à la présidence tournante, souligne les défis auxquels est confronté cet organe de transition.
Intervenant lors de l’émission « Le Rendez-vous avec Volcy Assad » ce mardi 14 mai, Pierre Espérance, Directeur Exécutif du Réseau National de Défense des Droits Humains (RNDDH), a révélé que la communauté internationale a déjà envisagé un plan B pour remplacer le Conseil en cas de poursuite des tractations politiques et des manœuvres au sein du CPT. Espérance exhorte les membres du Conseil à respecter les termes de l’accord du 3 avril afin d’éviter d’être remplacés par ce plan de contingence.
L’accord du 3 avril est crucial pour la stabilité politique et la gouvernance en Haïti, énonçant les engagements et actions que le CPT doit prendre pour assurer une transition réussie et apaiser les tensions politiques. Espérance a mis en garde contre les conséquences graves d’un non-respect de cet accord, y compris l’application du plan B par la communauté internationale.
Selon Espérance, le plan B a été envisagé en raison de la présence de secteurs mafieux qui cherchent à prendre en otage le Conseil. Il a averti les membres du CPT qu’ils risquent de « tout perdre » s’ils ne respectent pas les engagements pris dans l’accord du 3 avril.
Le Directeur Exécutif du RNDDH a critiqué la désignation d’Edgard Leblanc Fils à la présidence du CPT, la qualifiant de « Coup d’État » contre l’accord du 3 avril. Il a déploré le manque de consensus lors de cette désignation, soulignant que certains regroupements politiques ont exercé une influence démesurée.
Espérance a également exprimé son inquiétude quant aux tractations politiques en cours au sein du CPT, soulignant le manque de cohérence dans les décisions prises. Il a appelé à une action immédiate sur les grands enjeux nationaux, tels que les réformes politiques, la sécurité et la lutte contre la corruption.
Bien que les détails du plan B ne soient pas encore clairs, il est évident que des alternatives sont prêtes à être mises en œuvre si le CPT ne remplit pas ses obligations. Cette situation témoigne de la frustration croissante des partenaires internationaux face aux querelles politiques qui entravent le travail du Conseil.
L’accord du 3 avril demeure la pierre angulaire du processus de transition en Haïti, et son respect est essentiel pour assurer une transition démocratique et pacifique vers un avenir meilleur pour le pays.
