Plaisance est une commune d’Haïti ayant une superficie d’environ 121,52 Km2 située au fond d’une cuvette à l’entrée Sud du département du Nord. Elle a une population de 63 218 habitants selon un recensement par estimation daté de l’année 2009. L’histoire rapporte que des boucaniers y vivaient en grand nombre chassant les boeufs et les porcs sauvages et, des marrons tels que Jean-François, Biassou et Scylla y refugiaient avant la guerre de l’indépendance. C’est une richesse négligée et ignorée par ses fils trop gourmands et irresponsables qui la représentaient pendant ces 20 dernières années, car c’est cette chérie commune qui comporte la poudrière, les habitations la Province, Dumesnil, Despeignes et l’ancienne chapelle Vierge Miracles de Gobert où Jean-Jacques Dessalines rencontra Pétion en 1803 avant de lancer l’assaut final contre le Cap-Français, ce qui conduisit au 18 novembre 1803.
Cette belle commune qui m’a vu, moi, Kenold J. Janvier, naître abrite également des sites naturels dont la grotte et les chutes de Yacuba, la chute sur les rivières Robillard et l’Ilet, etc. Cependant, Plaisance est victime d’une politique d’exclusion pourvu que ses représentants ne sont pas capables de la défendre dignement par devant les décideurs de la république de Port-au-Prince, d’où la nécessité de trouver un fils digne armé de bravoure qui soit capable de défendre ses intérêts sur la table des grands débats politiques relatifs à son développement durable et endogène.
À cet effet, désireux de prendre sa défense et motivé par les placentins de ma génération, je me suis donné la mission de la représenter à la prochaine législature dans la perspective d’efforcer l’État central à/de:
-Résoudre le problème crucial de l’énergie électrique
-Résoudre le problème d’eau potable
-Résoudre les problèmes les plus pressants de la jeunesse flamboyante placantine
-Permettre la réunification des différents secteurs politiques, sociaux, religieux et économiques
-Prendre en charge les démunis, les personnes âgées, handicapées et autres…
Donc, très chers lecteurs, jeunesse de ma commune, citoyens et citoyennes responsables, placantins et placantines conscients, politiciens de tout acabit, l’heure de prioriser l’intérêt personnel au détriment de l’intérêt de toute la communauté placantine est révolue, l’heure de l’intégration effective et de la responsabilité des jeunes innovateurs a sonné. Vous, jeunes de ma génération, qui m’attaquez, soyez plus conciliants, plus pragmatiques et joignez-vous à moi pour qu’ensemble nous puissions rénover notre plaisance historique et planifier sa noble représentativité à la 51e législature à travers moi. Comme dans la citation célèbre de personnage de fiction je peux dire, Plaisance, ma Ville Cherie, elle est toujours là pour moi. Chaque nuit de solitude, elle est là pour moi. Ce n’est pas une espèce de fausse nymphette maquillée au marqueur. Non, c’est une vieille Ville, vieille et fière de ses moindres pustules, fissures et ridules. C’est ma chérie, mon joujou. Mince, j’ai que ça à faire. Plaisance a besoin de moi. Plaisance est mon amour, elle est ma vie. Et moi, je suis son esprit et son futur représentant à la chambre des Députés.
