Les droits constitutionnels y sont, pour l’instant, mis en veilleuse pour pouvoir sauver le mandat de Jovenel Moïse à qui tous les secteurs de la vie nationale demandent de démissionner.
Ce lundi 21 Octobre 2019, selon le correspondant permanent au haut Artibonite de l’agence de presse en ligne Lakay-Info, le Maire d’Ennery escorté de plusieurs individus lourdement armés; a procédé à l’arrestation du citoyen Jecosias Pierre chez lui. Ce dernier reconnu pour son implication dans la lutte dans l’Artibonite en vue renversement de ce système étatique corrompu, a été arrêté sans la présence, comme il se doit, d’un juge de paix. L’opération a été exécutée par des bandits armés, qui se sont substitués à la Police Nationale d’Haiti et opèrent en toute quiétude sous les ordres de deux élus proches du pouvoir! De milices à macoutes! De macoutes à chimères! De chimères à Bandits Légaux! De Bandits Légaux à Gangs d’Etat! Haïti, pour continuer d’inquiéter cette population qui est à bout.
À la demande de la population qui exigeait la libération de Jecosias Pierre, le Maire Marc-Henry Compère a déclaré : «Map fout kenbe misye nan komisarya e m pral fè nèg mwen yo kale misye. Les dirigeants de l’opposition aux Gonaïves avec à leur tête Raphaël Marado Clavanet et Pequens Lorgeat ont rendu visite à leur camarade de lutte au commissariat en compagnie de Maître Luc Occera, avocat au barreau des Gonaïves et plusieurs autres notables dans le domaine. Objet de la rage du Maite et de ses hommes de main de ce dernier, avec vous et balles des bandits qui accompagnaient le Maire, ils ne se sont pas laissés intimider.
N’était-ce la vigilance de la population, et la fougue des opposants, le Chef de l’opposition d’en Nery n’aurait pas été transporté aux Gonaives où Ekosyas n’est pas encore libéré. Ils en ont profité pour demander au commissaire du gouvernement d’assumer ses responsabilités et de constater l’illégalité de cette arrestation malgré la volonté de l’en dissuader.
En attendant, un sit-in de solidarité est prévu par devant les locaux du parquet des Gonaïves pour exiger la libération inconditionnelle et immédiate de Jecosias. Ce matin à 9 heures de nombreux jeunes opposants des villes d’Ennery et des Gonaives entendent être sur place pour demander la libération de Jecosias, dont le plus gros crime est de vouloir une vie meilleure pour lui, sa famille, sa commune et son pays.
