Insécurité: l’hôpital Bernard Mevs ferme ses portes.-

Pour protester contre la séquestration de la pédiatre Benetty Augustin, enlevée depuis une quinzaine de jours, malgré le versement d’une rançon, l’hôpital Bernard Mevs annonce la fermeture de ses portes à partir de ce jeudi 19 mai. 

« L’Hôpital Bernard Mevs, en solidarité avec la Société Haitienne de Pédiatrie (SHP), tient à informer au public que ses portes seront fermées les jeudi 19, vendrdi 20 et samedi 21 mai en cours », indique l’hôpital dans une note.

« Une cellule d’urgence sera ouverte uniquement pour les extrêmes urgences. Nous sommes fatigués d’être la proie des kidnappeurs, pendant que nous risquons nos vies pour sauver celles des autres. Non à l’insecurité », ajoute l’hôpital dans une note.
