Le Sénateur Youri Latortue a fait cette déclaration dans le cadre d’une série de dénonciations d’actes de corruption. Ce cas précis est connu du ministère des finances qui gère aussi les financements non budgétisés pour le luxe du président, d’armement et des promenades en hélicoptère.

3.5 millions de dollars US pour trois (3) hélicoptères de Helico S.A dont les locaux se trouvent au 40, rue Lamarre, port-au-prince et que Cherif Abdallah, protecteur du président Jovenel Moïse, en est l’actionnaire numéro un.

La somme de 1.5 million de dollars U.S dans le cadre d’un contrat annuel avec des mercenaires étrangers pour la sécurité de Jovenel Moïse. Leur per diem n’est pas inclu dans ce montant, ce petit cash de chaque jour qui ne dépasse pas 3 mille dollars US par semaine pour chaque mercenaire provient directement du Palais National.
