Adieu Marie France! Adieu !
J‘ai appris ce Matin avec tristesse le décès de Marie France Claude, fille du Pasteur Sylvio C Claude, un leader Politique de premier Plan qui a dominé la vie politique haitienne jusqu’à son assassinat dans des circonstances non-encore élucidées dans la nuit du 29 au 30 Septembre 1991.
Je salue le Courage et l’engagement de Marie France Claude qui était en première ligne dans la Construction du MOPOD,le Mouvement Patriotique Populaire Dessalinien. C’est bien sûr dans ce cadre que j’ai vraiment commencé à travailler avec Marie France. Et là, j’ai découvert une femme de conviction, sensible, avec une énergie exceptionnelle, dévouée totalement à la cause de la Démocratie et du Développement de son pays.
Je n’oublierai Jamais que Marie France m’avait personnellement beaucoup aidé à me protéger après mon arrestation à Martissant, le 22 Octobre 2013.
Marie France, Je n’oublierai jamais cette voiture usagée que tu savais utiliser pour me déplacer d’un point à l’autre à un moment où j’étais considéré comme une espèce de bête noire. Je regrette infiniment de n’avoir pas fait la diligence nécessaire pour te rencontrer quand tu étais de passage en Haïti après avoir subi la première intervention. Marie France, très franchement, Je le regrette infiniment. Tu me parlais toujours de ton père,le Pasteur Sylvio C. Claude.
Tu me l’as toujours présenté comme un homme trahi, et même sacrifié prématurément à l’autel des ambitions politiques démesurées d’une génération qui,au fond, n’avait aucun projet politique sérieux pour ce Pays. Tu as vécu très mal la banalisation des sacrifices de ton papa. Tu as vécu avec les souffrances de ton père. D’ailleurs, c’était toujours avec les larmes aux yeux que tu parlais de lui. Je slaue en toi l’incarnation de la fidélité sans faille à l’idéal du Pasteur Silvio Claude, leader Historique du PDCH.
Car, toi aussi, humiliée, torturée, incarcérée et exilée à plusieurs reprises, tu étais toujours une militante du PDCH, engagée de très tôt aux côtés de ton père, le leader Charismatique.
Je salue cette Famille, la Famille Claude, pour ses engagements constants dans la lutte pour la Démocratie en Haïti. Je présente mes sympathies les plus sincères à toute la famille, spécialement, Marie Denise Claude, les enfants de la défunte,les proches et amis très affectés par ce deuil.
Je présente également mes sympathies à Evans Paul, KP, mon mentor Politique, un très proche de la Famille.
