Avant la rencontre contre Toulouse dimanche, le président du PSG a demandé des explications à son joueur qui avait volontairement omis de le remercier dans la vidéo annonçant son départ du PSG. La discussion a vite tourné au vinaigre.

Cette fois, ils semblent définitivement irréconciliables. Entre Kylian Mbappé et Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, la séparation a pris des allures de clash, dimanche soir, avant le match contre Toulouse. Entre ces deux-là, la situation était de plus en plus tendue et il n’est pas étonnant que tout ait fini par exploser.
Depuis que la star avait annoncé à son président sa décision de quitter Paris cet été, les deux hommes ne s’étaient quasiment plus jamais adressé la parole. Leur relation, glaciale, est apparue au grand jour vendredi dernier, quand, dans la vidéo annonçant son départ, le capitaine des Bleus a remercié une multitude de personnes (coachs, directeurs sportifs, intendants, supporters) sans avoir le moindre mot pour son président ni l’émir du Qatar. Un affront pour Nasser Al-Khelaïfi qui lui avait offert en 2022 le contrat le plus lucratif de l’histoire du football. Ce conflit a connu un nouvel épisode dimanche.
Désireux d’obtenir des éclairages sur le fait qu’il ne l’ait pas cité dans sa vidéo, le président a insisté pour organiser une rencontre. C’est finalement au Parc des Princes, un peu plus d’une heure avant le match face à Toulouse, qu’elle a eu lieu. Les deux personnalités se sont isolées dans une salle, à l’abri des regards et des oreilles indiscrètes. Le ton est très vite monté. L’explication a rapidement tourné au clash.
« Les murs ont tremblé », rapporte un témoin d’une scène visiblement violente. L’échange a eu pour conséquence de retarder le début de l’échauffement, les joueurs entrant sur le terrain quatre minutes plus tard que d’habitude. Mbappé trouvera néanmoins le temps d’aller remercier les représentants du CUP qui avaient confectionné un imposant tifo à son effigie dans le virage Auteuil. Ce sera le seul hommage de la soirée pour le meilleur buteur de l’histoire du club. Son entraîneur le privant d’une ovation du public en décidant de ne pas le sortir à la fin du match.
Pendant la remise du trophée Hexagoal, le club n’avait rien préparé, officiellement pris de court par l’officialisation du départ de Mbappé, qui avait choisi de ne rien dire à ses dirigeants.
Entre Mbappé et Al-Khelaïfi, les relations se sont envenimées depuis le 9 février. Ce jour-là, Kylian Mbappé avait annoncé à son président son intention de ne pas prolonger avec le PSG et donc de partir libre à la fin de la saison. Avant ce rendez-vous, les échanges donnaient l’impression d’être revenus à la normale après un été marqué par la mise à l’écart du joueur pour la tournée de préparation au Japon.
Ces dernières semaines, le club avait laissé filtré que des discussions devaient avoir lieu pour trouver un terrain d’entente sur les modalités de séparation en plus de l’accord conclu en août dernier. Mais selon nos informations, il n’y avait, ces dernières semaines, aucun échange à ce sujet.
