Algérie: cinq milliardaires arrêtés pour suspicion de corruption, selon la télévision nationale

 La gendarmerie nationale algérienne a arrêté les frères Kouninef, quatre richissimes hommes d’affaires proches de l’ex-président Abdelaziz Bouteflika, ainsi que l’homme le plus riche du pays Issad Rebrab, a annoncé la télévision étatique A3, ce lundi 22 avril.

Redha, Tarek et Abdelkader et Karim (photo) Kouninef ont été arrêtés dimanche dans le cadre d’une enquête sur la conclusion de marchés publics avec l’Etat, trafic d’influence avec des fonctionnaires publics et détournement de foncier, a précisé la télévision.

Selon plusieurs médias algériens, Issad Rebrab est quant à lui accusé de fausses déclarations concernant le mouvement des capitaux, surfacturation des équipements importés et d’avoir importé des équipements d’occasion bien que bénéficiant d’avantages douaniers.

Le groupe Cevital a cependant démenti l’arrestation de son PDG. «M. Rebrab n’a pas été arrêté. On s’est présenté ce matin 9h30, il est en train d’être entendu sur le blocage Evcon», a affirmé le directeur de communication du groupe, Mouloud Oual, cité par le site d’information Tout sur l’Algérie. Le compte Twitter officiel de M. Rebrab a également indiqué qu’il s’agit d’ «un déplacement volontaire à la gendarmerie dans le cadre des blocages» de ses projets.

Auparavant, la justice algérienne a déjà convoqué l’ex-Premier ministre Ahmed Ouyahia et l’actuel ministre des Finances Mohamed Loukal, deux proches collaborateurs de Bouteflika soupçonnés de gaspillage de deniers publics et d’abus de pouvoir.

Début avril, la justice avait aussi interdit à plusieurs personnalités de quitter l’Algérie, sans donner de noms, mais les médias avaient révélé ceux d’une dizaine d’influents hommes d’affaires proches de Bouteflika.
