En marge d’une conférence de presse tenue aujourd’hui au bureau du Parti Ayiti An Aksyon, le Sénateur Youri Latortue a dénoncé des contrats passés entre l’Etat Haïtien et des firmes étrangères de lobbying pour des centaines de milliers de dollars US, en ce moment de triste épisode de crise sociopolitique et de détérioration des conditions économiques déjà précaires.
« Jovenel Moïse est un fieffé menteur qui pense pouvoir manipuler tout le monde en engageant des firmes étrangères de lobbying avec les maigres ressources de l’Etat pour sauver sa peau. » C’est ainsi que le Président de la commission éthique et anti-corruption du Sénat de la République a répondu à une question d’une journaliste pour ouvrir cette conférence de presse axée sur le gaspillage des fonds publics par la présidence.
Le Coordonateur National du Parti Ayiti An Aksyon qui dit détenir les documents de l’enquête menée par le journaliste enquêteur américain Jake Johnston sur les contrats synallagmatiques passés entre Jovenel Moïse, à partir des fonds publics, et des firmes étrangères de lobbysme, en a profité pour expliquer que le lobbying n’est pas quelque d’illégal aux USA. Cependant, dans le cas de Jovenel Moïse, les firmes de lobbying contractées ont pour mission de redorer son image aux yeux de l’international afin de retrouver une reconnaissance politique. Ignorant que la reconnaissance politique ne s’achète pas. « En plus, ces contrats n’ont jamais été approuvés par la CSC-CA. Ce qui constitue une violation flagrante de l’article 200.4 qui stipule que: Tous les contrats à caractère financiers doivent avoir l’avis de la Cour Supérieure des Comptes et du Contentieux Administratif. » se plaint-il.
Le premier contrat concerne la firme anglaise de lobbying -Mercury London- pour un montant de 300 000$ US, le deuxième concerne la filiale américaine -Mercury USA- pour un montant de 10 000$ US par mois, ces deux contrats sont signés suite à des démarches complices de l’ancienne Ambassadrice d’Haiti à Paris, Mme Vanessa Lamothe. Et, le dernier contrat date de mai 2019 et a été signé par le Ministre des Affaires Étrangères démissionnaire, Edmond Broccit, avec la firme Dentons US pour la somme de 25 000$ US par mois. Le tout au grand dam des lois républicaines régissant la matière dénonce le Sénateur Latortue.
On dirait qu’être démarcheuse est plus rentable qu’être ambassadrice, compte tenu de l’implication de Vanessa Lamothe Ex-ambassadrice qui a planifié pour la première Dame Martine Moïse la rencontre evec la firme DERMALOG pour la fabrication truquée des cartes électorales. Faut-il rappeler qu’après que Lakayinfo ait révélé l’empreinte de Mme Lamothe dans le dossier Dermalog le 7 février 2018, la cousine de Laurent Lamothe allait démissionner pour, une fois de plus, planifier pour la présidence d’autres signatures de contrats.
