Certification des magistrats : le Rénamah salue la réintégration de six juges et appelle à poursuivre le processus

Port-au-Prince, 10 juin 2026 – Le Réseau national des magistrats haïtiens (Rénamah) a accueilli favorablement la décision du Conseil supérieur du pouvoir judiciaire (CSPJ) de réexaminer les dossiers de plusieurs magistrats précédemment non certifiés. À l’issue de ce processus de révision, six juges ont été blanchis et réintégrés dans leurs fonctions.
Les magistrats concernés sont Evens Eltima, Lucien Georges, Carmin Baptiste, David Saint-Luc, Jean Perez Paul et Moïse Lindor. Selon le Rénamah, cette décision témoigne de la volonté du CSPJ de garantir un traitement juste et équitable des dossiers soumis à l’évaluation.
Dans une note rendue publique, l’organisation syndicale a salué ce qu’elle considère comme une avancée importante en faveur du respect des droits des magistrats et du renforcement de l’État de droit en Haïti. Le Rénamah estime que cette démarche contribue à restaurer la confiance dans les mécanismes de certification et dans les institutions judiciaires du pays.
Le syndicat a également adressé ses félicitations aux six magistrats réhabilités, les exhortant à poursuivre leur mission avec professionnalisme, intégrité et dignité au service de la justice haïtienne.
Toutefois, le Rénamah souligne que plusieurs dossiers demeurent en attente d’une décision définitive. L’organisation appelle ainsi le CSPJ à maintenir les mêmes standards de rigueur, d’impartialité et de transparence dans le traitement des cas encore pendants.
Parmi les magistrats dont les dossiers ont été transférés à la Commission technique de certification pour des vérifications complémentaires figurent Simon Jean David, Lionel Dimanche, Jean Raymond Antoine, Duvelsin Placide et Maximin Pierre.
Le Rénamah presse le CSPJ de faire preuve de diligence afin d’éviter que ces procédures ne s’éternisent, estimant qu’une clarification rapide de la situation de ces magistrats est essentielle au bon fonctionnement du système judiciaire.
Cette nouvelle étape dans le processus de certification intervient dans un contexte où les acteurs du secteur judiciaire continuent de plaider pour une justice plus crédible, indépendante et respectueuse des garanties professionnelles accordées aux magistrats.
